Keyboard

So here are some guides to help you fix it.

keyboard

Losing eys on a eyboard is freain annoying. (missing a ‘k’ for those of you playing along at home) While it is kind of tricky to get those little suckers back on, sometimes they break in the process of you trying to put it back on.

This is a huge pain in the ass and there are a couple things you can do:

1. Replace the whole keyboard. Now replacing a keyboard is kind of tough, but very doable. Find your model number and do a search on ebay for a keyboard for your computer.  You can try to pry off the keys and stick them back on yourself, or attempt replacing the whole keyboard. Your call… (Call ME and I can do it!!). If you are really insistant on doing this yourself then search on google for a walk through for your computer. Just don't lose any screws and remember how you took it apart so you can put it back together.

2. Get your priorities straight!: Here is a trick that I’ve used in the past for missing keys on a tight college kid budget who would rather drink cheap beer than type a paper... What you do is find a key that you never use on your keyboard. I mean how often do you use the ~ key? (unless you habla espanol, but you probably don't because you're at this site.) Probably a whole lot less than a letter from the alphabet or a number. Just swap them! If you really want to get creative, grab some sharpies and color in the letter that you’re replacing it with! BRILLIANT!
