So here are some guides to help you fix it.

Is your laptop screen damaged? If so there really are no ways of repairing it other than replacing the whole LCD screen. Luckily we have Hong Kong and other Asian tech companies that make these screens for cheap! All you have to do is buy a new screen off line, either replace it yourself or take it to a computer repair man,(me...) and you'll save a shit load!

How to find a replacement screen for your computer:

1. Turn over your laptop and look for a sticker that describes the model number of your computer.

2. Now, hop on Ebay, type in your computer manufacturer followed by the model number. (Example… HP DV7 ) then type in either LCD or monitor and see what the prices are. Another way is to say if you have an HP and you know that it has a 17.3" screen... just type in "17.3 hp lcd" and see if something comes up. The screen should only be around 100 bucks depending on the computer you have and how new/old it is and how big the screen is.

3. Click on the link that seems to be right for your computer and make sure that you see your model number on the actual ebay page. It won’t hurt to email the seller to verify that this is the correct part needed for your repair.

4. Now, you can take this to a computer repair shop (OR ME!!) and not have to pay a premium for the part that you just ordered just the fee for having the work done! BRILLIANT!
